Refund and Cancellation Policy for Hotel Solmar, Goa
At Hotel Solmar, Goa, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Our goal is to make cancellations and modifications as seamless as possible. The following policy applies to all bookings made through our website:
Refund Policy
We offer refunds for bookings based on the following conditions:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to check-in: Full refund, less any applicable processing fees.
- Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days before check-in: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount will apply.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of check-in: No refund (100% cancellation fee).
- No-shows or early departures: No refunds will be issued.
- Refund processing time: Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days from the cancellation date, and will be credited back to the original payment method.
- Admin charges: A 10% administrative fee and applicable GST will be deducted for any cancellation.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel or modify your booking under the following terms:
- Cancellation/modification up to 7 days before check-in: Cancellations or changes (subject to availability) can be made, and fees may apply.
- Modifications to bookings: Changes to the number of guests, check-in, or check-out dates are subject to availability and additional fees.
- No changes or cancellations within 7 days of check-in: Bookings cannot be modified or cancelled within this period.
You can cancel or modify your reservation by logging into your account on our website or by contacting our customer service team.
- No refunds for cancellations made on the same day or the day prior to check-in.
- No refunds due to mechanical issues with vehicles or natural disasters like landslides, floods, earthquakes, or heavy snowfall, or any other circumstances beyond the control of Hotel Solmar.
- Hotel Solmar is not responsible for delays or inconveniences caused by vehicle breakdowns or other unforeseen events.
Note: Written cancellations will only be accepted on working days (Monday through Saturday). Cancellations submitted on Sundays will be processed the following Monday.
Special Non-Refundable Periods
For bookings during Diwali, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and other major national festivals (between 20th December and 5th January), payments are non-refundable.
If a trip is cancelled after commencement, refunds will be limited and depend on what we can recover from our partners (e.g., hoteliers, contractors). No refunds will be issued for unused hotel accommodations, transportation, or missed meals.
Exceptions
During peak travel periods or for group bookings, specific cancellation or refund policies may apply. These exceptions will be clearly outlined at the time of booking.
Force Majeure
Hotel Solmar will not be held responsible for cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
